The Szabó family has been crafting handmade wines on the slopes of Somló for nearly 60 years. The two-hectare vineyard is located 200 meters from the Séd spring, on the southwestern side of Somló. Its exceptionally high elevation, basaltic soil, and unique conditions create a strong expression of the traditional Somló character in the wines.

The dominant grape variety at the winery is Juhfark, but Olaszrizling, Veltelini, and Zengő can also be found. Juhfark is a true rarity in wine gastronomy because it is an extremely rare and distinctive variety. The main reason for its rarity is that there are very few places that offer the ideal conditions for this grape. Due to Somló's favorable geological and climatic conditions, this variety is capable of producing exceptional quality wine here. The extraordinary grape and the ideal location have long made Somló Juhfark a renowned term.
