The family winery Pivnica Zaťko, operated by László Zaťko, is located in the Central Slovakian wine region in the village of Ipolynyék. This village has been a renowned wine-growing area since ancient times and has a rich winemaking tradition, particularly for wines produced from volcanic soils.

As a small family winery, Pivnica Zaťko does not have vast vineyard holdings, but it cultivates 1.5 hectares, producing both traditional and international grape varieties, from which it makes its wines. Their selection includes Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc, Blaufränkisch, and Szent Lőrinc.
