Our family was carried by the tides of history to this region, where the Great Plain meets the Transdanubian Hills, to the ancient vineyards of Sárköz, specifically the Decs Vineyard. The historic Sárköz farmhouse, built in 1927, stood in ruins for 24 years, awaiting restoration to its former character. In 2002, it was finally restored, laying the foundation for the growth and beautification of the Takler Wine Estate. Today, it serves as our family residence.

In 2003, a new wing was added, which still functions as the grape processing facility. In 2007, the final wing was completed, featuring a bottling area, office spaces, a tasting room, and guest rooms that operate as a small inn to this day. In 2012, we purchased the neighboring farmhouse, built in 1892, which we named Fecsketanya (Swallow Farm).

This distinctive veranda-style building takes us back to life in 19th-century Sárköz. We rebuilt it in its original style to preserve its legacy as a regional museum, safeguarding the memories of the past for future generations.
