The grapes from the vineyards of the Pannonhalma Archabbey Winery are processed in a new winery and wine house located at the foot of the monastery, covering nearly 2,000 square meters. This complex, situated on the southeastern slopes of Saint Martin’s Hill, blends seamlessly with the landscape and takes full advantage of the terrain. It offers visitors a comprehensive insight into the winemaking process and its results.

The winery's technology, tailored to its grape varieties, allows for the production of over 300,000 bottles of high-quality wine annually. We have introduced an innovative winemaking process that preserves the full quality potential of our grape varieties. This approach is based on a four-level processing facility that enables gravity-based material handling. The must from white grapes is transferred to temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation tanks, while red grape fermentation takes place in wooden vats and temperature-regulated metal tanks. The finished red wines are aged in cellar branches extending into the hill, where select white wines are also matured in small oak barrels.
