My curiosity and love for plant cultivation and viticulture led my family and me to purchase a neglected 5300 sqm plot in the neighboring village of Siójut, on the local vineyard hill, which came with a winery built at the end of the 1800s and a dilapidated small wine cellar. In 2001, we established our hobby-sized vineyard with around 800 vines.

In 2005, we were able to build a new wine cellar/weekend house in front of the winery. Our vineyard then included 3 rows of Szürkebarát and 9 rows of Pinot Noir. My two children also eagerly helped with the cultivation, and of course, the winery/wine cellar became a great place for gatherings with friends. In 2016, the idea and opportunity arose for us to purchase a 6.3-hectare plot, not far from the aforementioned winery.
