We are the Fertőrákosi Poncichter family, with a rich tradition of grape growing. Looking back to the past, we are honored by the respect for our winemaking ancestors and the preservation of traditions.

Driven by our passion for grapes and love for wine, father and son represent the typical family business where we primarily farm our own land, with some leased areas.

Our family believes that in both viticulture and winemaking, the only viable path is an unwavering commitment to quality, and we work towards this goal.

For this reason, our family and those around us view viticulture and winemaking not just as a job, but as a way of life.

Grapevines have been cultivated in the Sopron Wine Region since Celtic times, and it truly deserves its historical significance. Today, the region covers 1,700 hectares.

Based on the experiences of our winery, it is known that the best-located hills in the region, such as Újhegy in Fertőrákos, Kohlenberg near the famous Spernstein, and the Kraeftner slopes in the Fertő Basin, are ideal areas for grape growing and winemaking.

In these mentioned slopes, our family already owns significant land holdings.
