Ludvik Winery is a family-owned business founded by Ing. Ludvika Žofiaka in 1989 in the town of Modra, relying on its own vineyards. Our handcrafted, high-quality wines come from the Small Carpathians wine region, primarily from the Modra area.

Our vineyards are located on the warm southeastern slopes of the Small Carpathians, with stony, loamy-sandy, and clayey soils. In addition to cultivation, we plant and renew our vineyards, growing grapes in a gentle and sustainable manner. On our estates, we produce modern, high-character wines under the highest DSC protection, with designated origin labels.

Our wines have won numerous gold medals, and we have been featured in the National Wine Salon of the Slovak Republic and included in the list of the world’s top 1000 wines at the Vins du Monde competition in Paris. In 2022, we won the "Best Wine from Slovakia" award in Lyon for our 95-point Grüner Veltliner Barrique.
