Pivnica BRHLOVCE is a small, artisanal winery located in the village of Brhlovce, Slovakia. Brhlovce sits at the northern boundary of Central Europe's viticulture.
Our vineyards' roots are deeply anchored in volcanic bedrock, formed in ancient times by the once-mighty Sitno volcano. Brhlovce is also famous for its rock houses—extraordinary homes carved directly into the volcanic substrate.
Brhlovce is located 12 kilometers from the town of Levá, with its vineyards situated in this rural area. The vineyards lie in the Ipoly Mountains, which merge into the southwestern foot of the Banská Štiavnica Mountains. The roots of our Brhlovce vineyard are deeply embedded in the volcanic bedrock created by the ancient Sitno volcano.
