Recently, Szenc and its surrounding area were known as a notable wine-producing region, which unfortunately gradually faded into obscurity. Thanks to Jozef Navara, the founder of our winery, we have long been working to restore this region's place on the wine map, through both winemaking and the establishment of wine associations.

Our winery’s roots go back to the 1960s, when Jozef Navara began processing grapes from his small vineyard. The processed grapes were originally intended solely for personal consumption, stored in several hundred-liter demijohns. What started as a hobby evolved into a family business in 2002, in which the entire family now participates. Jozef Navara Jr. serves as the lead technologist, his son Michal handles marketing, his daughter Katarína is responsible for administration, and his wife Alena is the heart of the company.
