Their family history is deeply rooted in the Slovakian region, with strong connections to Bars, Hont, and Esztergom counties. They come from Lekér, a village where the flat terrain led the residents to plant vines across the Garam river, on the hillsides of Kissalla—the birthplace of the family tradition.

The first vines were planted by their great-grandfather, István Németh, around the turn of the 1860s-70s. Continuing this multi-generational tradition, they now farm about 4 hectares, located on the southern slopes of Dankhegy and Öreghegy near Párkány, as well as in Garamkissalla and the Ördöngös vineyard in Kéménd.

Even during the decades of communism, the family’s winemaking tradition was not interrupted, although the laws at the time severely limited the size of estates and the commercial trade of private winemakers' wines. After the political transition, in 1991, their father, József Drozdík, officially revived the family business alongside his teaching career.

The first bottled wines were introduced to the market in 2008, and today, the youngest generation is already working on further developing the estate.
