Our vineyard is located in the so-called Slovak viticultural golden ratio, where the conditions for grape cultivation are ideal. Statistically, this is the sunniest region in Slovakia, with the highest number of sunshine hours.

The effect of the sun on the grapes is extremely important, and its absence cannot be compensated for in any way. The loess soil, the surrounding hills and fishponds, along with the Danube, Garam, and Ipoly rivers, create a unique microclimate that gives the wine a distinctive, unmistakable character.

Château Rúbaň is a modern winery, utilizing the latest breeding achievements, yet it carries the weight of centuries-old regional traditions. We process locally grown, healthy grapes, with a strong emphasis on the characteristics of the vineyards and villages. At the same time, all our wines and services are aimed at our discerning Slovak and European clientele.
