Our love for wine and our interest in winemaking go back a long way. Over the years, we have visited many wineries across the country, had the chance to meet winemakers and experts, and participated in tastings and gastronomic events. Often, we prepared meals at home to enjoy with the wines we purchased.

We had a vacation home in Balatonszárszó for a long time, but we also wanted a small wine cellar. In 2016, we found this charming wine house with a cellar, standing in the middle of a beautiful estate. It felt like instinct led us here, and we didn’t hesitate when we saw it. At first, we started making wine as a hobby, just for our own enjoyment. Over time, we kept saying to ourselves that we wanted to become winemakers, and eventually, there was no other path left. In 2019, we took the leap.

We have limited land of our own, so we make our wines from grapes purchased locally. This year, we planted 850 Chardonnay vines and 850 Cabernet Franc vines. We personally know each new vine and planted them by hand.
