I have been practicing winemaking in Mogyoród for 15 years, and for the past two years, we’ve been bottling and selling our wines in a higher quality category, featuring local tourism and artistic values on our labels. My father-in-law, János Juhász, who leads our family business, introduced me to the basics of winemaking. This foundation was followed by formal studies in oenology and visits to several renowned wineries. My connection to viticulture began as a child, playing in the soil at a vine rootstock nursery on the Great Plain.

Currently, we cultivate Muscat, Cserszegi Fűszeres, Cabernet Franc, and a new Irsai Olivér vineyard on approximately 3.5 hectares. The soil is varied, predominantly sandy but with clay-rich patches and some gravelly, rocky areas—a blend of Mátra soils and the Gödöllő Hills.

Our vineyards are located right next to the Hungaroring, while our cellar is situated on the historic Mogyoród wine cellar row, part of the Mátra wine region. The Mogyoród cellar row boasts over a hundred years of history and has recently become one of the area’s revitalized and newly developed tourist attractions. Highlights include the Mill, the Lookout Tower, the Saint Ladislaus Memorial Site, and the Barefoot Trail.
