Maul Zsolt's journey began in his childhood with a love for grapes. He learned the craft of viticulture and winemaking, as well as the commitment to grapes, from his parents and grandparents. Although his studies primarily focused on finance, his passion for the Villány wine region has always been a defining part of his life. Later, as an adult, he deepened his knowledge at the Teleki Zsigmond Vocational School.

Maul Zsolt currently works as a winemaker and continually educates himself both at home and abroad. In his work, traditional handcrafted winemaking plays a central role, while also applying 21st-century winemaking technology alongside family and parental experiences. His wines represent a unique style, with a particular fondness for French grape varieties, such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. The Cabernet Franc variety is especially close to the winemaker’s heart. Maul Zsolt’s greatest pride is the wine named "Lator."
