Matos Patrik, one of the youngest winemakers in the Hajós wine region, inherited his winery from his parents. Since 2016, he has been working on half a hectare of family-owned land, carefully cultivating Irsai Olivér, Welschriesling, Zweigelt, as well as Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

The family follows tradition by hand-picking the grapes and allowing the wines to ferment spontaneously. With the help of family and friends, and infused with youthful energy, they combine this tradition with a modern approach. The new Matos Winery building has been designed for wine tastings, providing guests with a comfortable, peaceful, and friendly environment to enjoy a glass or two of fine Hajós Matos wine.
