The family winery, located in Hungary's Mediterranean wine region of Villány, has a history of nearly a quarter of a century. As a first-generation winemaker, Béla Jekl began working with viticulture and winemaking, and later, other family members also took part in running the winery.

The wines come from the region's most valuable vineyards; Jammertál, Ördögárok, and Feketehegy, covering approximately 10 hectares.
