The Egri Borút Association aims to support the preservation of the cultural heritage of the historic Eger wine region, nurture its culture, and contribute to the region's tourism development.

The Egri Borút Association is a public-benefit, non-profit civil organization, established in 2001 with the cooperation of 17 settlements in the Eger wine region. It currently has nearly 40 members.

Its main goal is to promote cultured wine consumption connected to gastronomy and raise awareness of the Eger wine region's tourism values and programs.

Through organizing cooperation among the people living in the towns of the Eger wine region, the association seeks to support quality wine production and help familiarize people with the region's artistic and architectural, gastronomic, and other cultural values related to wine.

With their certification regulations, they ensure that their members' services meet both domestic and international tourism expectations.
