The Gotberg Winery is located in the village of Popice in South Moravia, near Hustopeče. Founded in 2003, the winery released its first wines in 2010. From the very beginning, Gotberg has been dedicated to crafting high-quality varietal wines, combining traditional and modern grape varieties that perfectly align with the unique characteristics of the local terroir.

The winery building won the "Best Industrial Building in South Moravia" award in 2009 and is a remarkable example of modern winery architecture. Harmoniously integrated into the landscape, the structure is partially embedded in the ground, with dominant elements including wood, concrete, stone, and glass. Known as the "Diamond," the underground tasting room offers a unique wine-tasting experience thanks to its distinctive design.

For those wishing to stay in the area after enjoying the wines, the winery provides seven guest rooms. From the open terrace, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of the iconic Palava Hills, a defining feature of the region's landscape.
