Kracher Weinlaubenhof is located in the Seewinkel region of Burgenland, Austria, where the evaporation above the lake, evening fogs, and the warm Pannonian climate create a constantly damp and humid weather pattern, fostering the growth of Botrytis cinerea, which is essential for the creation of fantastic sweet wines, such as the more mature-style wines.

Alois Kracher annually produces 10-15 different aszu wines from varieties such as Welschriesling, Chardonnay, Traminer, Scheurebe, Muskat-Ottonel, and occasionally Zweigelt, in two distinct aging styles.

The wines known as "Zwischen den Seen" are aged in large wooden barrels or stainless steel tanks, reflecting the classic style of the region. The "Nouvelle Vague" line, on the other hand, is aged in new barrique barrels. These wines are characterized by depth, spiciness, and lasting power.

Gerhard Kracher continues to lead the winery with the same dedication and dynamism as his father.

In addition to its world-famous aszu wines, the winery offers ice wines and small quantities of dry white and red wines, solidifying its place as one of the most renowned Austrian wineries.
