The Liegenfeld Winery is located in Donnerskirchen, Burgenland, nestled between the Leitha Mountains and Lake Neusiedl, where our vineyards form an integral part of the local landscape and the foundation of our work. Approximately 85% of our vineyard area is dedicated to white grape varieties, making them the true stars of the winery.

The northern Burgenland region's continental Pannonian climate provides the perfect conditions for our grapes, with warm summers and minimal rainfall—just what they need to thrive! Donnerskirchen enjoys a unique location where the cooling, forested hills of the Leitha Mountains meet Lake Neusiedl, whose large water surface moderates the weather and helps maintain the ideal climate for viticulture.
