What to expect
- Look for Szőke Mátyás Winery on the edge of Gyöngyöstarján, in the valley where the large fermenting tanks are located
- Arrive in comfortable shoes and bring a sweater, a long cellar tour is mandatory here
- Walk around the entire winery and always taste from the barrel where you are currently standing
- Don't miss the peasant platter, you will enjoy the sausage, ham, and pork cracklings
- Plan plenty of time, you will spend at least 2-3 hours here
