Come to Miskolc and take part in a wine tasting where the focus is on natural wines and organic viticulture. Alongside the four selections, be sure to choose either a Mangalica abundance platter or a barrel sample.
What to expect
- Meet winemaker Zsolt Sándor at his press house on the Avas cellar row, then follow him up to the tasting room above the cellar, where he will present a few selections
- Learn the intricacies of making natural wines and the methods associated with grape cultivation
- Ask for a cold platter featuring artisan cheeses, sourdough bread, and excellent organic Mangalica products
- Go down to the cellar presentation and taste directly from the barrels among the wines still developing
- Ask to take away some of your favorite wines if you want really good natural wines for your home collection
