More than 30 international wine professionals, dedicated business meetings and exceptional tasting experiences: Vinhos & Sabores returns to Lisbon from 17 to 19 October 2026. Organised by Grandes Escolhas, Vinhos & Sabores is one of Portugal's major wine events, bringing producers, industry professionals and wine enthusiasts together at Lisbon's Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL).

Yet the event aims to offer more than an opportunity to discover and taste wines. Its growing international programme is designed to create meaningful business connections between Portuguese producers and potential partners worldwide.

Building international connections

The 2026 edition will welcome more than 30 international guests, including wine buyers, importers, journalists and industry representatives. Participants are expected from markets across Europe, Asia and the Americas, including Hungary.

A dedicated Business Lounge will provide space for meetings between Portuguese wineries and international partners, helping producers explore commercial opportunities and develop new relationships.

According to the organisers, the fair's international outreach programme attracted buyers from 14 markets across its 2024 and 2025 editions.

Alentejo takes centre stage

Alentejo is the featured wine region for 2026, with a programme celebrating its wines, gastronomy, tourism and cultural heritage.

Nine chefs associated with wine tourism projects in the region will present dishes prepared with Alentejo ingredients, accompanied by wine pairings.

Visitors can also explore Portuguese wine traditions through special guided tastings featuring regions such as Madeira, Douro and Dão, alongside sessions dedicated to vinhos de talha, Alentejo's traditional clay-vessel winemaking.

Where wine culture meets business

Vinhos & Sabores offers an example of how a wine fair can bring together consumer experiences, regional identity, wine tourism and international business development.

By connecting producers with importers, journalists and wine enthusiasts, the event seeks to support both the visibility and commercial reach of Portuguese wines.
